To celebrate this milestone, Chevrolet has introduced a special commemorative edition of the Corvette Stingray, the first mid-engine version of the legendary car.

The 2023 Corvette Stingray offers exotic performance, stunning design, and advanced technology at an affordable price.

We are going to explore the features, specs, and models of the 2023 Corvette Stingray, and why you should consider getting one.

What’s new for 2023?

The 2023 Corvette Stingray is based on the eighth generation C8 model that debuted in 2019.

The C8 was a radical departure from the previous generations, as it moved the engine from the front to the rear of the car, creating a more balanced and agile driving experience.

It has also featured a sleek and futuristic design, inspired by fighter jets and race cars.

The 2023 Corvette Stingray builds on the success of the C8, and adds some new enhancements and options. The 70th Anniversary Edition, available exclusively on the top-line 3LT trim, highlights the most notable addition and is orderable for both the coupe and convertible body styles.

The 70th Anniversary Edition features special dark finish aluminum wheels, red brake calipers, and unique exterior badging. You can choose between White Pearl Metallic or Carbon Flash Metallic paint, with or without Satin Gray or Satin Black racing stripes.

Leather upholstery, red stitching, and microfiber trim adorn the interior.

You also get a set of custom matching luggage as a bonus.

Other improvements for the 2023 model year include new 20 inch wheel designs, optional black tailpipes, new Stealth Aluminum interior trim, and an available Adrenaline Red Dipped cabin theme, which covers the dash and door panels in red upholstery.

What are the performance features?

The 6.2-liter V8 engine, codenamed LT2, powers the 2023 Corvette Stingray, producing 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque when equipped with the optional performance exhaust system.

The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission pairs with the engine, delivering smooth and quick shifts.

The 2023 Corvette Stingray can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, and reach a top speed of 194 mph.

It also features a sophisticated suspension system, which can be upgraded with the available Magnetic Selective Ride Control 4.0. This system uses an innovative fluid that contains metal particles, which can change the viscosity and damping of the shocks, depending on the road conditions and driving mode. The system can read the road every millisecond and adapt in as little as 10-15 milliseconds, giving you the confidence and control to push harder while staying planted.

The 2023 Corvette Stingray also offers a variety of driving modes, which can be selected via the Driver Mode Selector. The modes include Weather, Tour, Sport, and Track, as well as customizable MyMode and Z Mode. These modes adjust various parameters of the car, such as the engine, transmission, steering, brakes, exhaust, and suspension, to suit your preferences and driving conditions.

What are the design and technology features?

The 2023 Corvette Stingray is a stunning piece of art, with a beautifully sculpted body that has a low and wide stance, sharp lines, and aerodynamic details.

Press a button to lower or raise the retractable hardtop roof of the car in just 16 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 30 mph. The compartment behind the engine can store the roof without compromising the trunk space.

The interior of the 2023 Corvette Stingray is equally impressive, with a cockpit that combines functional technology with luxurious craftsmanship.

A 12-inch digital instrument cluster, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a wireless charging pad surround the driver.

The seats are heated and ventilated, and the steering wheel is heated as well.

The car also features a 14 speaker Bose sound system, blind-spot monitoring, and a head-up display.

The 2023 Corvette Stingray also supports the myChevrolet Mobile App, which allows you to access various remote functions and diagnostic resources for your car. You can start, stop, lock, unlock, and locate your car, as well as check the oil level, tire pressure, fuel level, and mileage. You can also schedule service appointments, view owner’s manuals, and get roadside assistance.
